"For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind." (Isaiah 65:17)
Have you ever just needed a fresh, new start? Have you ever just thought, "if I could just regroup and start over everything would be alright"? I've done that plenty of times. Whether it's projects around the house or writing a message (well, even this blog). Sometimes it helps to just start over. Unfortunately, in life there is no backspace button or a reset button like your old Nintendo (I know some of the younger generation won't get that. Lol). We can't erase what is already done. It remains a memory and sometimes even a regret. We can't erase our failures, but as the old song says, "I know a Man who can!". He can give you a fresh, new beginning. Old things will pass away and all things will become new.
God told us through the prophet Isaiah, "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind." (Isaiah 65:17). God's going to not only hit the backspace on our memory. He's going to reset everything. He's going to create a new heaven and a new earth and the struggles of this world won't even be a distant memory. They will be gone forever physically and in our minds. All the things you are worried about today will be completely forgotten. So, don't spend so much time worried about the things that will pass away. Instead, keep your minds on the things to come. Keep your mind on new beginnings.
